How it works

From first call to hauling it away

No account to open, no minimum order and no deposit to get a number. You call, we walk the site, you get a written quote, and if you like it we install.

The process

Five steps

  1. 01

    Call or send the details

Rough linear footage, where the site is, and how long you need it. If you do not know the footage, that is fine — we will work it out at the walkthrough.

  2. 02

    We walk the site

We measure, look at the ground, find the access points and photograph the layout. This is where the install method gets decided: what the soil will take, where the wind comes from, where gates have to go.

  3. 03

    You get a written quote

Linear feet, method, gates, screen, duration, price. Free, and with no obligation. We aim to beat any comparable quote for a similarly installed fence.

  4. 04

    Delivery and install

Once the agreement is signed we deliver everything and install it. You do not source panels, stands, sandbags or hardware — it all arrives on our truck.

  5. 05

    Retrieval

At the end of the term we pull the fence, load it and leave the ground clean. No panels left leaning behind a dumpster for you to deal with.

Pricing

What actually drives the number

We do not publish a rate card, because a rate card for temporary fence is either wrong or padded. Five things move the price, and the walkthrough is how we pin them down.

Linear feet
The single biggest input. A 6,400-foot perimeter and a 100-foot one are different jobs, and we have installed both.
Duration
Rentals are priced by time on site. Long-term projects get better per-month rates than short ones.
Install method
Post-pounded costs more to put in and take out than panels on stands, because it is more labor and it holds better.
Add-ons
Gates, windscreen and extra sandbagging each add material and labor. Sized to what the site actually needs.
Site conditions
Ground that fights a post, long hauls from the nearest access, or a layout that has to be worked around all take longer to install.

On price: we aim to beat any comparable quote for a similarly installed fence. “Similarly installed” is the part that matters — a cheaper quote for panels on stands where your site needs driven posts is not the same fence, and you will find that out in the first real wind.

During the rental

What we ask of you

Almost nothing, but the little there is keeps small problems from becoming charges.

  • Walk the line occasionally. Check the connections and snug up anything that has worked loose.
  • Keep signage visible and the perimeter clear of stacked material and debris.
  • Call us if a panel gets damaged or a vehicle clips the line. The sooner we know, the smaller the repair.
  • Call us for change orders too. If your footprint moves, we will move the fence rather than leave you working around it.

Damaged fencing, equipment replacement and change orders are added to the rental total. Nothing gets billed to you without a conversation first — email Cedar.Temp.Fencing@gmail.com and we will sort it out.
